Dr. Faye Bethell BVetMed CertGP(ExAP) PgC(ZooMed) MRCVS - Director and Veterinary Surgeon

RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioner in Zoological Medicine

Faye qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2009 and has since been working in busy practices around Norfolk and gained her European School of Veterinary Post Graduate Studies General Practitioners Certificate in Exotic Animal Practice in 2012 and becoming a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Recognised Advanced Practitioner in Zoological Medicine in 2017.  She opened Toll Barn Veterinary Centre in January 2014 and has a keen interest in medicine and surgery of all species including exotics.  Outside of work Faye enjoys looking after her many animals and playing the organ at her local church. 

Dr. Jenna Annison BVSc MRCVS - Veterinary Surgeon

Jenna studied Veterinary Medicine at the university of Liverpool, she graduated with distinction in 2013 and has since moved back to her family roots in Norfolk. She enjoyed mixed practice for the first part of her career, treating a wide variety of farm and small animal pets. Jenna owns two greedy guinea pigs, Twix and Fudge who like nothing better than to race each other around the house at full speed. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, cooking and strolling along Norfolk beaches as well as spending time with family and friends. Jenna has a great love for operating and is undertaking a surgical certificate to enhance the surgical cases treated at Toll Barn Vets.

Dr Agnieszka Ogrodnik DVM MRCVS - Veterinary Surgeon 

I studied and graduated at Wrockaw university of Environmental and Life Science in Poland in 2016. Shortly afterwards I moved to the UK. For the past 12 years I have been working at different practices across Norfolk. I have a keen interest in surgery and I particularly enjoy seeing feline patients. My spare time I spend with my young family and my animals. 

Dr Steve Bonethorne MRCVS - Veterinary Surgeon 

Nola Bethell - Practice Manager

Following a career as an Executive Level Personal Assistant within various corporate organisations, together with nearly 15 years as an Office Manager within one of Norwich's largest primary schools, Nola now provides office support as Practice Manager to the Veterinary Centre. Her role includes handling the Practice Administration and customer liason and she enjoys meeting the clients and their pets. In her spare time Nola enjoys spending time with the family dogs, cats, sheep and horses and travelling to support her favourite football team.

Lucie Claxton RVN - Head Veterinary Nurse, Registered Veterinary Nurse

Having moved to Norfolk from London in 2003, I didnt waste any time starting my nurse training in 2004.  I attended the College of Animal Welfare, qualifying in 2006.  I have worked at a couple of practices in Norwich and had previously worked with Faye, so when my maternity leave finished in June 2014, jumped at the opportunity to work with her again.  I met my husband Paul in 2004 and amongst other things have enjoyed touring Europe on motorbikes before settling down with our 2 daughters and Spencer the cat.....we'd need a big car to carry on the touring !!!

Rachel Jones RVN - Registered Veterinary Nurse

Rachel Joined our team in May 2017 after successfully qualifying in August 2016.  Since qualifying, Rachel has developed a keen interest in anaesthesia and is undertaking specialist Certificate in Anaesthesia. When Rachel isn't working she enjoys camping, mountain climbing and looking after her naughty kitten Albus. 

Monika Nawrocka RVN - Registered Veterinary Nurse

​I qualified as a Veterinary Technician in 2011 in Poland. Since then I have worked in a busy Small Animal Clinic until I decided to move to the UK in 2016. I received my Registered Veterinary Nurse qualifications in 2017 after fulfilling the program differences between my previous curriculum and Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

 I joined Toll Barn Vets at the beginning of April 2018 and I am really pleased to work with such an amazing team here. I have an interest is nursing all sorts of exotic animals and I am currently undertaking an Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Nursing of Avian, Reptiles, Amphibians, Small Mammals and Wildlife Species. I also have an interest in behaviour and training and I enjoy teaching my cats tricks. At home I live with four very cute rescue tortoises and two well behaved cats. 

Brydy Crane RVN - Registered Veterinary Nurse

​I had always dreamed of becoming a veterinary nurse and began my training in 2008. 

10 years on I am still passionate about nursing and love being able to help and provide comfort to our patients. My particular interests are cats, exotics and weight management.  I hope to undertake further training focusing on the nursing of exotic pets in the future. 

Kelly Winstanley RVN CertEd - Registered Veterinary Nurse

​I started working in practice as a weekend kennel assistant in 2000, whilst completing my A-Levels and Animal Management qualifications. Following a brief spell working in a zoo I began my nurse training and qualified in 2010.  I have been lucky to work in a variety of practices, allowing me to work with companion animals, horses and farm animals. Most recently I have been teaching Veterinary Nursing and Animal Management at a local college, which I loved. I qualified as a teacher in 2014 and look forward to being the clinical coach to student nurses at Toll Barn. I have a particular interest in medical nursing and supporting clients that are caring for pets with chronic medical conditions. I am also hoping to study animal rehabilitation once my daughter is a little older. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and my two (very cheeky) cats, Trouble and Ditto.  

Fran Jennings RVN - Registered Veterinary Nurse

I started working in the veterinary industry as a General Nursing Assistant in 2011. After a couple of years I began training as a Veterinary Nurse qualifying in November 2016. During that time I developed an interest in exotic pets and canine behaviour which I hope to pursue further whilst at Toll Barn Vets. I joined Toll Barn Vets in June 2018 and when I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my two very cheeky chinchillas called Dexter and Drifter, my cat called Jasmine and going on lovely long walks and doing agility with my two Australian Shepherds called Austin and Clyde.

​I was born in Wales and moved to Norfolk over 30 years ago. I trained as a Secretary but spent the last 16 years working as a Teaching Assistant in a large Primary School before joining Toll Barn Vets. I have two cats and in my spare time I enjoy walking and horse riding.
